No listener account

You can listen without signing in. Likes are stored on our server using a random anonymous browser identifier. A cookie connects this browser to its likes for up to one year. Likes do not sync across browsers or devices. Clearing the cookie loses access to those likes; their anonymous records may remain in the totals.

Listening statistics

After 30 seconds of actual playback, the site records a play for the track with the date, approximate country and city when available, referring website, and campaign label. A random playback identifier prevents counting the same playback twice. A separate random browser cookie, retained for up to one year, deduplicates listeners across plays. It is not linked to your likes identifier or an account. We store this anonymous identifier with playback events and an approximate city, region, country and rounded location when provided by the hosting service. We do not store your IP address, precise GPS location or email in the listening database. Unfinished playback records are cleared after one day as new playback events arrive.

The public Listeners tab shows aggregate unique-browser counts by approximate city and country, plus a world map. It does not publish browser identifiers, individual playback histories or timestamps. The artist’s detailed listening dashboard remains private. Clearing cookies, using private browsing or changing devices can count as another browser. A browser that listens in multiple cities can appear in multiple city totals, so those totals may exceed the worldwide count. Historical plays before this feature launched cannot be deduplicated and are excluded from this map. Location can be inaccurate, especially with VPNs or mobile networks. Referrers may be unavailable and appear as “Direct / unknown”. The hosting provider may separately keep operational and traffic logs under its own policies.

Saved preferences

An HttpOnly cookie identifies this browser for likes. We store the browser identifier, track ID and time of each like, and publish aggregate counts. Unliking removes that record. Each browser can contribute one like per track; counts do not represent verified unique people. Existing browser-only likes are transferred to the server when you return. This identifier is not added to playback analytics. Your personal track order is automatically saved in this browser. A playback-preferences cookie remembers your current track, position, shuffle and repeat settings for up to one year. It is specific to this browser and does not sync between devices. Playback resumes only when you press Play. Audio files are delivered through the website’s hosting service. There are no advertising trackers added by this site.
